Choosing Du Rangen for a one-night stay proved to be a mixed bag of value and luxury. The quaint hotel with its charming shutters and comfortable room met our basic needs adequately. While the snowfall outside made for a cozy atmosphere, the noise was efficiently blocked out, allowing for a snug and warm night's rest. The location of the hotel was convenient, offering easy access on foot from the nearby parking area. The breakfast spread surpassed typical French hotel offerings, with a variety of fresh bread, cheese, and charcuterie. The staff were attentive and accommodating, providing a secure place for our bikes overnight.However, the presence of noisy late-night conversations outside our window and the average room comfort for the price were slight drawbacks. The hotel's proximity to the town center and local market added to its appeal. Du Rangen strikes a balance between affordability and basic comfort, making it a reasonable choice for a short stay with modest expectations.
